The University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine (CCOM) will be funding up to 10 premed UI undergraduate students to perform a research writing project with a CCOM faculty member over 8 weeks during summer 2023. The intent of the writing project is to have a manuscript that will lead to submission of a first and last author publication for the student and faculty member, respectively, by the end of the 8-week period. For 2023, internships may be fully remote, hybrid or campus-based.
